Transforming Childhood Challenges into Strengths

Embracing Every Child's Potential

"Transforming Scars into Stars" is not just a philosophy; it's my approach to working with children. I believe in the incredible resilience and potential within each child, even amidst challenges. My role is as a beacon, highlighting the beauty and strength within their struggles.

A Compassionate Guide for Young Minds

At the core of my therapy is a deep empathy and an unwavering commitment to seeing the world through children's eyes. Utilizing evidence-based practices, I build trust-based relationships that support healing and personal growth.

My work integrates cognitive-behavioral techniques tailored to meet the unique needs of each child. In partnership with families, I create a supportive and transformative healing journey.

Specialized Support for Children and Families

As a therapist with extensive experience, both in private practice and at Children's Hospital Dallas, I've dedicated my career to caring for children facing medical challenges as well as emotional and psychological struggles. My approach is holistic, addressing the interconnected aspects of a child's well-being.

Individual Therapy: A Safe Space for Growth

Children, like adults, face their own set of challenges—whether it’s navigating emotions, dealing with school pressures, or coping with changes at home. In our sessions, children find a safe, validating space to express themselves and explore their feelings.

Together, we'll discover and build upon their inner strengths, empowering them to overcome obstacles and grow with resilience and confidence.

Innovative Techniques for Comprehensive Care

I employ child-centered play therapy and TBRI® (Trust-Based Relational Intervention) to support emotional healing and foster positive behaviors. My background as an elementary school teacher and my international experience has deepened my understanding of the unique perspectives and needs of children.

Supporting Parents and Families

A crucial part of my practice involves working closely with parents to strengthen the family unit. I offer guidance and strategies to support healthy parent-child relationships, ensuring that the family environment nurtures the child’s growth and development.
